My name is Austin Overmoe and I’m an artist living in Seattle, WA. I’m a student at the University of Washington. I’m planning to major in  fine art and/or graphic design. Art has always been a hobby for me, but within the past few years have I realized it’s my true passion. I’m always trying to experiment with new techniques, ideas, and mediums; to name a few I do Drawing, Painting, Stenciling, Serigraphy, Block Printing, Bookbinding, Calligraphy, and Photography…and growing fast.

This blog came about from the back and forth pictures and text messages between my aunt Stacy and I. I send her pictures of pieces I’d be working on, and she would send me comments, critiques, pictures of cool street art she saw in San Francisco, Interesting things she finds and pictures of the sunrise over the bay. I realized a blog would be a good way to document my process and share some of my work with more people than just my Aunt. So if you’ve made it here, please enjoy. If you haven’t made it here; then you aren’t reading this right now and I don’t know why I’m writing to you.
