Newport Beach: Painting on Stone #2

After seeing my post about my Newport Beach Stone Painting, my good friend Anthony, asked me to create a similar rock for him, as a gift for his dad. (His dad lived in Newport Beach area) so here it is:
The stone is another of the ones I brought back from my trip. So it is again a painting of the beach on a stone from the beach, however this time I didn’t/couldn’t  use water from the ocean.

Newport Beach: Minerature painting on stone

It has been a long time since my last post!…But check out this small gouache painting I did today. I found a surprisingly square and perfectly flat stone walking on the beach…in other words a Minerature canvas.

 I also used water from the ocean to constitute the paint.
So It’s a painting of the beach, on a rock I found at the beach, using water  I got from the beach…I think that’s cool.
